One:

Eberle said he believes goal scoring is about confidence, that he thinks his near-misses of goals in early season and "things will equal out" if he keeps up his positioning, forechecking and shot attempts.
Gourde talked about the Kraken needing to "create more traffic in front of the net" (something he mentioned in both English and French). "It's tough for a goalie to stop a puck he can't see," Gourde said.
One more adjustment on Gourde's list for improved scoring: "Don't look for the extra pass. Keep it simple. If we weren't getting scoring chances, it would be a different story."
All good ideas and actions to watch Tuesday from the three proven NHL scorers and everyone else in the forwards group. Footnote for fans: Yanni Gourde is going to be a fixture for this team in coming weeks and, guess here, seasons to come.

Two:

Coach Dave Hakstol provided a simple reply to what needs to be different against Montreal: "In this building, we need to start quicker." What to watch: Do the Kraken start strong with drives to the net, forecheck to get the puck back in the Canadiens' defensive zone and not allow odd-man rushes (3-on-2 and 2-on-1) that Seattle defensemen and No. 1 goalie Philipp Grubauer must expend early energy to fend off a deficit during the first 10 to 20 minutes.

Three:

Hakstol added one more objective for Tuesday's matchup with Montreal: "Win the specialty teams. Vancouver scored a power play goal to tie the home opener at 2-2 mid-third period Saturday. Hakstol is looking for a clear advantage Tuesday, hold the Canadiens from the scoreboard during their man-advantage segments while the Kraken take advantage of their power play opportunities to get to the net front for rebounds or tip-ins. We'll report back on how that turns out.
