How will this affect my Season Ticket Membership in the 2026-27 season?

Once the Seattle Kraken's full season schedule is released by the NHL (typically in July), your Kraken account will be adjusted to reflect the removal of one home game since that game will be played in Finland. Your Season Ticket payment plan will be updated so the remaining balance is divided evenly across your remaining scheduled payments.  If you paid in full, a refund will be issued to your method of payment for the ticket value.

Will the Kraken offer a fan travel package to Finland?

Yes — the Kraken are finalizing official fan trip packages for the NHL Global Series in Helsinki. Fans interested in attending are encouraged to register here to learn more and receive priority access to tickets, hotels, flights and more, as soon as it is available.

What time do the games start?
  • Nov. 12: 7:00 p.m. (EET) / 9:00 a.m. (PT)
  • Nov. 14: 8:00 p.m. (EET) / 10:00 a.m. (PT) 

Helsinki is 10 hours ahead of Seattle in November, so both games will be morning starts in the Pacific Time zone.

Will the games count in the regular-season standings?

Yes — both games are official NHL regular-season games and will count in the standings.

What Finnish players either play for the Kraken or are part of the organization?

The Kraken have several Finnish players and prospects, including Kaapo Kakko, Eeli Tolvanen, Jani Nyman, Ville Ottavainen, Nikke Kokko, Julius Miettinen and Kim Saarinen.  

Carolina’s lineup includes Finnish forwards Sebastian Aho and Jesperi Kotkaniemi.

Is this the Kraken’s first international game?

Yes — The 2026 NHL Global Series Finland games will be the first regular-season action outside North America for the Kraken, as they become the 27th active franchise to play in such games.  

The Hurricanes will be making their second trip outside North America, to Finland, for regular-season play. Their first was the 2010 Premiere Series, which saw the Club win a pair of games at Hartwall Arena over the Minnesota Wild, 4-3 on Oct. 7 and 2-1 in a shootout Oct. 8.
