Final

The New York Islanders six-game home winning streak came to a close on Sunday, as the Isles fell 4-1 to the Tampa Bay Lightning at UBS Arena.
Brock Nelson opened the scoring with his 31st goal of the season, but the Lightning responded with four-straight goals from Victor Hedman, Alex Killorn, Ross Colton and Mikhail Sergachev for the win. The loss was the Islanders second in a row after falling 6-3 to the Boston Bruins on Saturday afternoon.

THE SCORING

1st Period:
18:14 - NYI 1, TBL 0 - Brock Nelson scores his team-leading - and career-high - 31st goal of the season, keeping, shooting and scoring on a three-on-one rush. Nelson goes high short side on Andrei Vasilevskiy. Adam Pelech picks up the lone assist.
2nd Period:
1:10 - NYI 1, TBL 1 PPG - Victor Hedman ties the score at the tail end of a Tampa power play. Hedman skates down the wing and sneaks a sharp-angled shot between Ilya Sorokin's body and right arm. Brayden Point and Vasilevskiy pick up the assists.
9:47 - TBL 2, NYI 1 - Alex Killorn finishes a two-on-one rush with Anthony Cirelli to give the Lightning the lead. Cirelli scoops up a turnover at the Lightning blueline, skates down the wing and dishes a backhand pass over to Killorn.
3rd Period:
9:10 - TBL 3, NYI 1 - Ross Colton deflects a Mikhail Sergachev shot onto Semyon Varlamov. The goaltender makes the first save, but Colton picks up his own rebound and deposits it in at the side of the net.
16:56 - TBL 4, NYI 1 - Mikhail Sergachev collects his own rebound and slides it through Varlamov's five-hole. Steven Stamkos and Nikita Kucherov pick up the assists.
