Isles Day to Day: Aho Loaned to Bridgeport

With the New York Islanders on a 10-day break for the NHL All-Star Weekend, as well as their league-mandated bye week, Sebastian Aho was returned on loan to Bridgeport.
The goal will be for Aho to get some game action with the Sound Tigers, who play on Jan. 24 and 25 in Hartford and Springfield, respectively. Aho will also compete in the 2020 AHL All-Star Classic in Ontario. This year marks the third straight season Aho was selected to the All-Star Classic, a Sound Tigers record.
Aho was initially recalled by the Islanders on Jan. 3 in wake of Adam Pelech's season-ending injury. He was returned to Bridgeport on Jan. 9 and recalled again on Jan. 13, and has been practicing with the team.
