Juuso Valimaki put up four points for Tri-City but the Americans were edged 6-5 in overtime by the Everett Silvertips on Monday, eliminating them from the WHL Playoffs.
The Americans fell 4-2 to the Silvertips in the Western Conference Final series.
Valimaki, who was selected 16th overall in the 2017 NHL Draft, ended up with four goals and 17 points in 12 postseason games this spring.

Valimaki's first assist came in the first period, setting up Morgan Geekie for the Americans first goal of the evening.

The Finn's next point came early on in the second stanza, picking up the primary assist on Kyle Olson's tally.

Valimaki added his third assist at the 6:30 mark of the second period, grabbing the puck off an offensive zone draw and passing it to Jake Bean, who put it on net for Michael Rasmussen to whack in.

The defenceman's final point of the night was an early third period primary assist on Olson's second goal of the evening. He corralled the puck in the corner in the defensive zone and fed Olson, who carried it up ice and let a long shot go just over the Silvertips' blueline.

Valimaki's four-point, two-shot effort earned him second star honours in the overtime setback.
