Lindholm on the win over Vancouver:

"I thought they looked a little faster than us in the beginning, but after that, I thought we controlled the game, didn’t give up too much. Marky played well in net, so it was a good game."

On the Flames' upward trend:

"Lately, we’ve been playing better, you start seeing better signs out there of what we want to do. The lines are kind of where we’re supposed to be, (our) line has played well; we’re coming. Obviously, they came off a late night trip, but it’s always nice to win."

On the things the team is doing better on the ice over the past six games:

"A lot has changed. We’re following the system more, we’re dialled in, winning more battles, we’re working harder. It all comes down to, there’s a lot of good teams in this league and you’re not going to win on skill. We’re one of those teams that needs to work harder than other teams to win games, and we’re starting to realize that."

"It's always nice to win"

Huberdeau on scoring his third goal of the season:

"It felt good, it has been awhile. It was good to get, finally, a goal, and a big win for us."

On the reception from the fans after his goal:

"I think it’s nice to see the support from the crowd, they’ve been patient. It’s nice, obviously, but hopefully that can get me going. It was a good game, our line, we created a lot of chances. We’ve just got to take that, and do it for next game."

On building confidence:

"It has to be like that every game. When you start creating, the confidence just comes; every time you’re on the ice, you’re going to do something good. Your defensive game’s going to get better, you’re going to be in a better position, that’s what it was tonight. Take that, best game of the season, it was a big win for us; you know lately we’ve been playing good hockey, a big team came in tonight, and in front of our own crowd, it was huge."

"I think it's huge for me"

Dube on scoring in the Cowboys Casino Minute-to-Win-It:

"Who doesn’t like Vegas, I guess, I don’t know. Going out on the ice, they announced it, I was kind of chuckling in my head. When we scored, you don’t realize that then everyone on the bench, everybody was pretty fired up for the people that just won it. I just met them, actually, they’re going to try and line it up for when we play; brought some good luck to us too."

On learning from Huberdeau:

"You learn a ton from him to be honest. He’s played for however long, his attitude coming to the rink, every day he’s positive and tries to get better. For a guy like that, regardless that feeds off on everybody that he’s here, he’s showing his work. It’s nice that he gets rewarded like that. It’s awesome for him, he’s a great guy in this locker room for us."

"It was a good one, for sure"

Huska on the reaction to Huberdeau's goal:

"I thought it was cool, we have great fans here, and what they do recognize is hard work. You could see that from him tonight, so when he gets rewarded, it was nice, and it goes a long way for a player that is really working to find his way. We’re all happy for him, it was good to see him score that."

On his team's play against the Canucks:

"We did a lot of good things in the second period, that’s one area that we were really happy with after the game was the pace that we had in the offensive zone, where I think we were able to wear a team down, that was on a back-to-back with tough travel. I think we took advantage of that in the second period and they had a hard time recovering in the third."

On Lindholm's three-point night:

"He’s got an easy tell. When Elias is on, he’s got tons of speed through the middle of the ice. So that first goal, that Dillon made a great wall play, it’s Elias that’s coming with a lot of speed underneath. When he’s on, that’s typically what you’ll see, and you saw that on numerous times tonight so that means he’s skating, and when he’s skating, he tends to make good plays."

"We're all happy for him"
