BILL PETERS ON STATUS OF MONAHAN AND BENNETT:

PETERS ON JAMES NEAL:

"I'd like to get him going sooner rather than later. Won't play tomorrow, so the next opportunity will be Saturday. ... He's coming. The tough thing with those guys now is that it's been a while - about 15 games, I think. There's really not an NHL practice left on the schedule. Today was a real good skate. I thought our guys were sharp. But if you look at it, there's five (forward) lines and if you divide all those drills up, you're not getting a lot of reps. You've really got to make sure you're putting the effort in, staying out there doing extra, and he's done that. He's getting closer, but sometimes you need a game, too, that'll hopefully be this weekend."

U OF A ALUM DEREK RYAN ON LUKE PHILP SIGNING:

"There'd been some rumours before, so I was kind of hoping for it. Obviously, it's great news for Luke - I don't know him personally, but I'm really happy and excited for him. I'm excited for the Golden Bears organization. It's great to have an NHL contract out of their roster. It's great. I think we've talked about it a lot, but it's a hidden gem in Canadian hockey, the Canadian University U Sports. There are some players that can get lost in the mix there, so I'm happy that teams are starting to look for them and finding them."

MARK JANKOWSKI ON TUESDAY'S WIN:

"This time of year, most games are going to be like that. They're playoff-type games. Not a lot of room, not a lot of space out there. Last night was definitely one of those games. You just have to think, sometimes, that if things aren't going your way or you're not getting calls here and there, you just have to find ways to win and I thought our team played a full 60 and was able to come out on top."

JANKOWSKI ON CHEMISTRY WITH CZARNIK AND MANGIAPANE:

"Everyone adds something a bit different to the mix. Everyone has a different style of game. Just being able to mix and match guys like that, the depth that we have on this team and the fact that everyone can play an important role, it's huge for us coming down the stretch."
