DUEHR ON SCORING HIS FIRST NHL GOAL:

ON HIS PATH TO THE NHL

"A lot of hours just putting in hard work and believing in myself. Credit to those guys, a lot of support from those guys as well. I wouldn't be in that spot without those guys."

ON BEING A ROLE MODEL FOR KIDS FROM SD:

"I'm sure they see me doing it, it probably puts the belief in their head. Which it should. Anybody who puts their head down and goes to work can achieve pretty great things. Hopefully they can look at it and dream big."

DUBE ON HOW IT PLAYED OUT:

"We played a full 60. They had their push and it was good for us to get one back and keep going from there. At 2-1, it's easy to just defend. But I think we kept to it, stuck to the way we needed to play and Colesy got the most important goal for us, so it was huge.
"We learned from the game before. There's going to be some swings, for sure, and to be able to get a couple right back early was really good for us."

ON DUEHR'S MILESTONE MOMENT:

"It gave us some life. He's such a good guy, he brings a lot of life, he's a great player. He has some family here, so it's special, you can see the grin on his face. I've trained with him for quite a while and know him really well and I'm happy for him. It's a special night for sure, you enjoy it when someone does that, it's awesome, especially a big goal like that to get us going. It was awesome.
"Great shot. That's a beautiful first goal, for sure too. It's not an easy rink to play in, too, so to get it here is pretty special."

ON LINDHOLM'S GREAT FEED ON THE GWG:

"It's unbelievable. What, did he bat it out of the air? To get it through the guy's legs? Or however it did, it was one-handed or something like that. It was a great play and even Toff was killing it before. A couple one-handed passes back-to-back in the slot. (Lindholm) is an incredible player. He makes those little plays, works so hard to win those little battles to create stuff. He's a superstar and doesn't get credit for the little stuff he does in the game."

SUTTER ON DUEHR'S FIRST NHL GOAL:

"That's awesome. Everybody always remember their first ones. He will, for sure. ... It's awesome. Kid wasn't drafted. Comes up the hard way. Spends his four years in school, starts in the American League where everybody should."

ON HOW HE'S PLAYED ON THIS CALL-UP:

"He didn't play any different than he did the first game. Just the way the commercial timeouts and penalties were, you couldn't utilize all the lines as much as I wanted to. But he stayed ready and good play by Naz, Lewy makes a good play to get it to Naz."

ON GETTING THE WIN:

"All three games we've played against St. Louis this year, really close games going into the third. We were able to get a save and score a goal."
