Forward lines, D pairs and starting goaltenders for our EA Sports NHL20 simulation

by RYAN DITTRICK @ryandittrick /

If you're looking over the schedule and searching for the 'easy' opponent, make no mistake - you're it.

Such is life in the NHL.

But nothing - nothing - compares to what's in store for the Flames today.

Cam Talbot will get the start in goal as the 2019-20 squad welcomes Lanny McDonald, Joe Nieuwendyk and the legendary Flames Alumni team to the World of Chel.

Mike Vernon will get the nod for the franchise all-stars, putting his career 385-273-92 record, .899 save percentage and 2.76 goals-against average on the line in this classic, virtual matchup.

Each team will also be represented by a fan who entered our contest earlier this week. Thank you to Joe Rino and Colby Myroon for entering our contest this week and we hope you enjoy the game! For more information on both players, check out the game preview by clicking HERE.
