Ducks to Host Coach's 5k Challenge Sunday at Great Park Ice

The Ducks will host the Anaheim Ducks Coach's 5K Challenge presented by Arrowhead Water tomorrow, Nov. 13 at Great Park Ice & FivePoint Arena in Irvine, CA. The event is sold out and all proceeds raised will benefit the Anaheim Ducks Foundation. Check-in for the Coach's 5K Challenge presented by Arrowhead Water will begin at 6 a.m. with the 5K to begin promptly at 7:30 a.m. Each participant will receive an exclusive Coach's 5K Challenge racing bib and a limited edition "finisher" medal etched on game-used glass from an Anaheim Ducks game at Honda Center. In addition, all participants will receive a ticket to the Anaheim Ducks vs. Detroit Red Wings game on Tuesday, Nov. 15 (7 p.m.) as the top three men and women finishers will be recognized during the game.

The inaugural Coach's 5K Challenge presented by Arrowhead Water will be led by Ducks Head Coach Dallas Eakins alongside his wife Ingrid Kavelaars. Eakins and Kavelaars are advocates for promoting the benefits of physical and mental health. Participants of Coach's 5K Challenge will enjoy a beautiful course route around Great Park and the Ducks' training facility. Ducks' power players, street team members and mascot Wild Wing will be in attendance. Nexen Tire will also be on site as a support partner. Following the conclusion of the 5K, participants will have the opportunity to enjoy a beverage inside the facility located at Great Park Ice & FivePoint Arena.
