The Ducks will open their 2022-23 home schedule tomorrow, Wednesday, Oct. 12 at Honda Center versus the Seattle Kraken (7 p.m.). All fans in attendance are encouraged to be in their seats by 6:45 p.m. for the opening sequence, player introductions and this season's 21st Duck. Upon arrival, the first 10,000 fans in attendance will receive an OC Navigator Paper Hockey Helmet giveaway presented by the OC Health Care Agency. At the conclusion of the game, up to 10,000 fans will receive a 2022-23 Ducks magnet schedule presented by Bally Sports.

Ducks fans are encouraged to arrive early for the Anaheim Ducks' Home Opener, particularly to take part in the Orange Carpet player arrivals presented by Opendoor, beginning at 3:30 p.m. in Puck Drop Patio (north side of arena). Players will greet fans as they walk the orange carpet and will be interviewed on the main stage by Ducks host Kent French in addition to live interviews on Ducks Stream by host Alexis Downie. Ducks Stream will air live coverage of the orange carpet from 3:30-5 p.m. with interviews from Downie and French, and also re-air coverage prior to the pregame show. Fans can also visit the Bud Light Seltzer and Golden Road activation booths at Puck Drop Patio.

, Ethan Baroldi, who embodies characteristics such as great perseverance, character, courage and inspiration will also be walking the orange carpet with the team on his way in to making his debut on the roster for opening night.
Ethan has battled through four heart surgeries, the first coming at six weeks old, the most recent in 2020. After the initial surgery, Ethan also suffered a stroke and was airlifted to hospital, which led to two of his heart surgeries. Through it all, Ethan persevered and began ice skating at age six as part of the Ducks Learn to Play Program Powered by Ryan Getzlaf and Corey Perry. Ethan made the Junior B Ducks team in 2021.
Wednesday marks the first Ducks game for the new Honda Center mobile app, a one-stop shop for Ducks fans. The Anaheim Ducks Foundation will conduct the first 50/50 raffle of the regular season with proceeds benefiting the Foundation's mission of supporting programs that produce positive change for children and families throughout Southern California by providing educational opportunities, broadening access to the sport of hockey, and addressing the health and wellness needs of our community. Back by popular demand for a second season is Puck Drop Patio, located outside the North Entrance to Honda Center. Puck Drop Patio opens at 2 p.m. Wednesday and will remain open through the end of the second intermission.
