BLOG: Hughes to Wear Number 86

Jack Hughes walked into the Devils locker room at the Prudential Center on Tuesday morning for the first time and saw his name on the back of a jersey hanging in a stall.
The jersey had the number 86 on it, which brought a smile to the 2019 first-overall pick's face. It's a number he wore before in midget hockey with Toronto.

It's also double the number 43 he's worn for Team USA and contains the Hughes' family number 6.
