Devils Managing Partner Josh Harris has a front-row seat to the hard work that the Devils front office puts in on a daily basis. This summer has seen a huge roster retooling, with key additions across the board.
"As we've said over and over to you guys, our north star here is to build the Devils into a championship contender, and we intend to do that," said Harris. "This summer certainly with P.K [Subban] and all the other things that have happened with Jack [Hughes] and others like Wayne Simmonds, we've made a lot of progress."

Harris says "talent wins championships" and it's clear that the Devils now have a fair amount of talent. Subban was one of the key additions this offseason, and he was introduced to fans on Thursday at an event inside Prudential Center.
"I'm really excited to have him both on the ice but also as a leader for our team."
As Harris spoke to media members on Thursday night, it was clear that he is excited about Subban and the future of this Devils roster. But the work doesn't stop here.
"David and I and everyone in the Devils organization are committed to doing what we need to do, and working tirelessly to getting a championship in New Jersey," he said. "New Jersey fans are used to Stanley Cups. What can we do? You've had three of them. So we need to deliver, and we know that."
