Both Ryan Poehling and Cayden Primeau were on Team USA's 29-man roster to close out the week as they merge the two teams they had at camp into one. That said, Poehling has not seen any game action, as
he told NHL.com's Mike Morreale
he was recovering from surgery he had in July for tonsillitis and a deviated septum. He has been in Kamloops all week to skate and work out, however, and to spend time bonding with the rest of the United States' hopefuls vying for a spot on the Americans' World Junior Championship squad later this year.
As for Primeau, he played in Team USA White's first game of the event, making 16 saves in a 5-2 win over Finland on Monday.
The other Canadiens prospect in Kamloops, Jacob Olofsson, scored a goal on Tuesday when Sweden fell to Finland 4-3 in a shootout.
There were no games scheduled on Wednesday, but the action resumes Thursday with the United States taking on Sweden and Team Canada up against Finland.
