MONTREAL – The Canadiens were blanked 4-0 by the Detroit Red Wings at the Bell Centre on Saturday.

Captain Nick Suzuki extended his Iron Man streak to 500 career NHL games.

Canadiens players arrive at the Bell Centre for Saturday's game against the Red Wings wearing Quebec minor hockey jerseys in celebration of grassroots hockey in the province.

Jayden Struble skipped his turn as Kaiden Guhle, who hadn’t played since October 16, returned to the lineup alongside Arber Xhekaj. Jacob Fowler got the start in net.
