MONTREAL — The Canadiens announced on Thursday that defenseman Adam Engstrom was loaned to the Laval Rocket in the American Hockey League.
Engstrom appeared in nine games with Montreal since his recall on December 9. He registered a plus-3 differential in 11 games with the Habs this season.
The Canadiens are back in action at the Bell Centre on Thursday against the Florida Panthers. Meanwhile, Engstrom’s next game with the Rocket could be on January 9 when they visit the Rochester Americans.
