The Must List: Byron Froese

MONTREAL - Being an NHLer comes with more than a few perks. And while not everyone will get to travel like the Canadiens or have their own stall in the dressing room, there are still a few things the Habs recommend adding to a bucket list that are well within reach for most fans.

ONE CAR PEOPLE MUST DRIVE
I've always been a GM or Chevy guy, but the truck that I think you have to ride in is a Toyota Tundra, fully loaded. I've seen some with burnt orange interiors, and I think it's unbelievable. In the summertime, you've got to roll down the windows and the best feature is that the back window goes all the way down. It takes away all the wind noise. It's a great feeling. A buddy of mine had it my first year pro in Rockford and we drove around all the time with the windows down.
ONE ALBUM PEOPLE MUST ADD TO THEIR COLLECTION
Chris Stapleton. He's phenomenal. He has an unbelievable voice. You've seen him win all kinds of awards. He's a great songwriter, too.

ONE RESTAURANT IN THE WORLD PEOPLE MUST TRY
I haven't been to many places in the world, but one of my favorite spots on the road is The Capital Grille. If there's one around, I always enjoy going there. It's consistently good. Good steaks. I like the tuna tartare there.

ONE BRAND/TYPE OF CLOTHING PEOPLE MUST WEAR
I'm not a clothes guy at all, but two brands I'd say are Lululemon and Kanuk. Lululemon is always great and comfortable and Kanuk makes amazing jackets. They're so warm. You've got to have a good winter coat up here in Canada.
ONE TV SHOW PEOPLE MUST WATCH
Ozark on Netflix is a great show. Revenge is good, too. Breaking Bad is also a staple. When it comes to sitcoms, though, it has to be How I Met Your Mother and Last Man Standing.
ONE LESSER-KNOWN MOVIE PEOPLE MUST WATCH
If I'm just going to go with something silly, I'd say Hot Rod. I think Andy Samberg is funny. Sometimes those movies just get me. There's another movie that I watched that I never really heard about in theaters. It's called Wind River. It has a good message to it.

ONE ACTIVITY PEOPLE MUST TRY
Darts. When I was in Syracuse, we played a lot of darts in the locker room to the point where we were playing like seven games a day. You can get pretty good pretty quickly. It's pretty fun. I bought a dart board for my basement.
