MONTREAL -- Joshua Roy capped the scoring in Canada's 5-2 semi-final triumph over Czechia at the 2022 IIHF World Junior Championship on Friday at Rogers Place.
The 19-year-old winger was the most utilized player for head coach Dave Cameron's contingent. He logged a team-high 44 shifts and 23:07 of ice time. Riley Kidney was back in the lineup for Canada. He played just 63 seconds. For his part, captain Jan Mysak scored his team-leading fifth goal of the tournament for Czechia.

The Finns earned their spot in the championship tilt with a 1-0 semi-final shutout of Sweden. Oliver Kapanen was held pointless, while Petteri Nurmi didn't dress.
