MONTREAL -- The Canadiens earned their third consecutive victory on Saturday night, edging the Penguins 5-4 in overtime at the Bell Centre.

Josh Anderson returned to the lineup after serving a two-game suspension for boarding.

Anderson's wrist shot through traffic beat goaltender Tristan Jarry to put Montreal ahead. The tally was unassisted.

During the first intermission, the Canadiens introduced METAL! to the crowd, resolving the mystery around who was behind a perplexing series of technical glitches that had plagued the team's recent home games.
The Club confirmed that METAL! intends to be the unofficial official mascot of its upcoming Reverse Retro series of games, which begins Tuesday night against the New Jersey Devils.

Jeff Petry scored the game-tying goal for the Penguins at the 1:46 mark of the second period on the power play.
Then, Rickard Rakell put Mike Sullivan's squad ahead 2-1 at 3:29.

Cole Caufield scored the equalizer just 49 seconds into the third period, beating Jarry with a point shot that found its way through a screen from Kirby Dach.
Caufield's ninth goal of the season was assisted by Kaiden Guhle and Nick Suzuki.

Evgeni Malkin put the visitors back in front 3-2 at 3:19, before Suzuki scored his 10th goal of the year at 4:09 to even things up.

Brock McGinn put the Penguins up 4-3 with 5:58 remaining in regulation, but Sean Monahan answered right back 40 seconds later with his third goal of the year on the power play.
Jonathan Drouin and Dach collected the helpers.

Mike Hoffman was the overtime hero, scoring 63 seconds into the extra frame.
His fifth goal of the year was assisted by Dach and Guhle.
