7- Number of games the Canadiens have played on a Monday this season. Claude Julien's troops headed into the game with a 3-2-1 record on the first day of the work week. The Habs only have one Monday game remaining on their schedule - on February 25 against the New Jersey Devils.
25 - Number of career fights in the NHL for Nicolas Deslauriers. The Habs tough guy dropped the gloves with Kevan Miller in the first period. It was Deslauriers' second career fight against Miller, with their last duel dating back to October 18, 2014, while Deslaurier was a member of the Buffalo Sabres. It was his second fight of the season.
3 - With his equalizing goal late in the first period, Brendan Gallagher scored a third goal in as many road games. The Habs forward has eight goals in enemy territory so far this season and leads his team with 18 markers.
