11,600 - Sven Andrighetto's second goal of the season late in the second period was also the Canadiens' 11,600th tally on home ice in franchise history in the NHL ranks. The Swiss forward capitalized on a loose puck behind Penguins goaltender Matt Murray's net and banged it home to cut Pittsburgh's lead to 3-1 through 40 minutes of play.

3 - Number of teams against whom Alexei Emelin has registered six points over the course of his NHL career, adding the Penguins to that list on Wednesday night with an assist on Andrighetto's marker. He's also put up six points against both the Boston Bruins and Tampa Bay Lightning, which represents the highest point total he's managed to generate against any NHL club since debuting back in 2011-12.
