MONTREAL - Things are looking up in Montreal these days - especially for people who did exactly that on Thursday afternoon.

Montrealers in the downtown core were treated to a little airborne playoff spirit over their lunch hour as a plane flying a 25' x 38' Go Habs Go banner, sponsored by RONA, Ford, Scotiabank, and Lafleur, made its way around the city's airspace to mark the start of the playoffs.

Fans took to social media to showcase the plane in action, sharing photos and videos of the overhead Habs flag using the hashtag #AirCH.

Tyler Toffoli's wife, Cat, shared her own airplane post in honor of her husband's first playoff as a Hab.

There are plenty of other ways to get into the playoff spirit from home - and win some great prizes - including a jam-packed lineup of virtual programming, free Canadiens tattoos from Adrenaline, and playoff lawn signs, which are available from Tricolore Sports with 21% of profits going to the Montreal Canadiens Children's Foundation.
