Michael McCarron called up from St. John's

The 21-year-old forward returns from a two-game stint in the AHL

MONTREAL -- The Canadiens called up Michael McCarron from the St. John's IceCaps on Friday.

The 21-year-old forward has played 18 games with the big club so far this season, registering a goal, four assists, and 28 penalty minutes over that span.
Most recently assigned to St. John's following last Sunday's game in Boston, McCarron suited up for the IceCaps twice during the Habs' bye week -- but was held of the scoresheet.
