BROSSARD -- The Canadiens issued medical updates on forwards Alex Belzile and Sean Monahan on Monday.
Both players will miss the remainder of the season with their respective health issues. Belzile sustained a fractured leg. He registered 14 points (6 goals, 8 assists) in 31 games with Montreal this season. Monahan, who hasn't played since December 5, underwent groin surgery. He registered 17 points (6 goals, 11 assists) in 25 games.
