After being shut down for a week due to COVID protocols, the Canadiens resumed activities with a rare evening practice at the Bell Sports Complex in Brossard on Monday.
Joel Armia was still on the NHL's COVID protocols list and didn't take part in the skate, while Eric Staal is still quarantining after arriving from Buffalo over the weekend and was also absent. Tyler Toffoli (lower-body injury) also did not skate. Meanwhile, Corey Perry was unavailable for line rushes but did join his teammates for practice.
