The Canadiens held a morning skate at the Bell Sports Complex in Brossard for the first time since returning from the road to prepare for their contest with the Toronto Maple Leafs on Wednesday.

Forwards Paul Byron and Tomas Tatar did not take part in the skate. For his part, Jonathan Drouin was placed on long-term injured reserve for personal reasons and will be absent indefinitely.
