Lindgren, Primeau head to Warren Strelow National Team Goaltending Camp

MONTREAL - The Canadiens will be well-represented at the
11th annual Warren Strelow National Team Goaltending Camp
in Plymouth, MI.

Charlie Lindgren and prospect Cayden Primeau will both be taking part in the camp, which opens on Tuesday at USA Hockey Arena.
According to USA Hockey, the four-day camp features some of the top American goaltenders eligible to represent their country internationally.
It will address "both physical and mental aspects of goaltending, helping each of the 27 invitees master the fundamentals of the position while developing a personal identity that translates to in-game success."
While Primeau is among those invitees, Lindgren will be one of several current professionals on-site.

It marks the first time in camp history that USA Hockey has invited current pros to participate. In doing so, the organization is hoping to help them "to prepare for their upcoming season while also creating an organic mentorship for the next generation of future NHL American goalies."
Primeau, who is headed into his sophomore year at Northeastern University (NCAA), most recently participated in the 2018 World Junior Summer Showcase in Kamloops, BC.

The 19-year-old Voorhees, NJ native has his sights set on representing Team USA at the 2019 IIHF World Junior Hockey Championship in British Columbia.
For his part, Lindgren represented the United States at the 2018 IIHF World Championship in Denmark in May, claiming a bronze medal.
The 24-year-old Lakeville, MN native is headed into this third season in the pros.
