SAINT-JEAN-SUR-RICHELIEU -- A doctor, a Super Bowl Champion and two hockey players join a Zoom call…

No, it's not the set-up for a joke - it was Friday afternoon at CHSLD Gertrude-Lafrance.

Phillip Danault and Max Domi joined Kansas City Chiefs guard Dr. Laurent Duvernay-Tardif via video call at the longterm care facility where he's been volunteering since late April, to surprise patients and staff.

Duvernay-Tardif, a 2020 Super Bowl champion and McGill Medicine grad, has spent his spring working at the Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu CHSLD to pitch in in the fight against COVID-19.

On his last day at the facility, the Doc wanted to do something special for two of his patients, Lise and Gaetan, who are both die-hard Habs fans and listed Danault and Domi as their favorite players.

The Canadiens duo sent along some gifts, which Duvernay-Tardif delivered personally, and passed along their well wishes virtually.

The Habs may not have an MD on the ice, but Danault and Domi made their debut "house call" a success.
