BROSSARD -- Goaltender Carey Price will rejoin the Canadiens on Monday, according to head coach Dominique Ducharme.

Price, 34, voluntarily entered the NHL/NHLPA Player Assistance Program on October 7.
During his post-practice press conference on Friday, Ducharme explained that Price will meet with the team's athletic therapists to develop a comprehensive plan for his return to action.

Ducharme didn't rule out the possibility of Price eventually suiting up with the AHL's Laval Rocket before playing with the Canadiens.
"That might be an option. We did it last year before the playoffs. It could happen again. It's way too early right now," said Ducharme. "First, we need to see him, but we're going to take a look at everything that we can do to get him ready to play, and that's one thing that we can look at, but nothing's sure."
The seven-time All-Star underwent knee surgery in late July.
