MONTREAL - Here's a quick look at the progress a few Canadiens prospects are making with their respective clubs so far this season.

Ryan Poehling
The young centerman helped the St. Cloud State University Huskies claim their second consecutive Penrose Cup, which is awarded to the National Collegiate Hockey Conference's (NCHC) regular season champion.

It marked the third time since the NCHC's creation in 2013-14 that the Huskies finished atop the standings heading into the playoffs.
The 20-year-old American has enjoyed plenty of success since the beginning of February, scoring four goals and amassing eight points in six games.

Poehling's most notable performance during that stretch came on February 1 when he scored twice and added two assists in a 5-1 victory over the Miami University RedHawks.

In 28 games so far this season, Poehling boasts seven goals and 27 points. He also has a plus-12 differential.

The Lakeville, MN native was the Canadiens' first-round pick, 25th overall, back in 2017.
Nick Suzuki
The Guelph Storm forward enjoyed his best game of the season on Saturday night, scoring twice and chipping in with three assists against the Flint Firebirds.

In 10 game since February 1, Suzuki has four goals and 16 points.
Acquired by the Canadiens in a trade on September 10, the OHL standout has 29 goals and 73 points in 49 games so far this year.

A former first-round pick of the Vegas Golden Knights, Suzuki has scored 10 power play goals and nine game-winning goals as well.
Those nine markers represent a career-high in that department.
Josh Brook
The captain of the WHL's Moose Jaw Warriors is riding a six-game point streak. Brook has three goals and nine points during that span.
The 19-year-old Canadian rearguard also ranks second in scoring among all WHL blueliners with 63 points - including 15 goals - in 48 games so far this season.

He also leads the League's defensemen with eight power play goals.
A second-round pick of the Canadiens, 56th overall, back in 2017, Brook has a career-high four game-winning goals as well, along with an impressive plus-20 differential.
