MONTREAL- The Bruins' 2022-23 regular-season schedule has been released.
Here are some of the highlights to circle on your calendar:

October 12 at Washington, 7 p.m. (Capital One Arena)

The Bruins will commence a new campaign away from TD Garden with a visit to Alexander Ovechkin and the Washington Capitals. The Black & Gold will play just one road game before returning to Boston for the home opener.

October 15 vs. Arizona, 7 p.m. (TD Garden)

The B's will be back on Causeway Street against the Arizona Coyotes to kick off a brief two-game homestand, which also includes a tilt against the reigning Presidents' Trophy-winning Florida Panthers two nights later.

November 21 at Tampa Bay, 7 p.m. (Amalie Arena)

An Atlantic Division clash against the three-time defending Eastern Conference champions awaits the Monday before Thanksgiving in Tampa.

November 25 vs. Carolina, 1 p.m. (TD Garden)

The Bruins and Hurricanes will meet during Boston's annual Black Friday matinee for the first time since their seven-game showdown in the opening round of the 2022 Stanley Cup Playoffs.

December 3 vs. Colorado, 7 p.m. (TD Garden)

The B's will welcome the Stanley Cup champion Colorado Avalanche for the teams' only meeting in Boston. The clubs will square off again just four days later in Denver.

December 5 vs. Vegas, 7 p.m. (TD Garden)

Two nights after hosting the Avs, former Bruins coach Bruce Cassidy will return to Boston with the Golden Knights for the first of two matchups between the clubs within a six-day stretch. Boston will visit Vegas on Dec. 11.

January 2 vs. Pittsburgh, 2 p.m. (Fenway Park)

The Bruins will return to Fenway Park for the first time since 2010 as they host the Penguins in the 2023 Discover NHL Winter Classic. It will mark the fourth Winter Classic (2010 at Fenway, 2016 at Gillette Stadium, and 2019 at Notre Dame Stadium) and fifth outdoor game in B's history (2021 at Lake Tahoe).

February 11 vs. Washington, 3 p.m. (TD Garden)

Boston returns from its 10-day hiatus for the All-Star Break and bye week with a home matchup against the Capitals.

March 9 vs. Edmonton, 7 p.m. (TD Garden)

Bruins fans will have their annual chance to see Connor McDavid and the Oilers up close as the Black & Gold host Edmonton for a Thursday night tilt on Causeway Street.

April 13 at Montreal, 7 p.m. (Bell Centre)

The Bruins close out the 2022-23 regular season with a Thursday night visit to the rival Canadiens.
Some other nuggets from the 2022-23 schedule:
- Longest road trip - 5 games (January 24-Feb. 1: Montreal, Tampa Bay, Florida, Carolina, Toronto; and March 12-19: Detroit, Chicago, Winnipeg, Minnesota, and Buffalo). - Longest homestand - 5 games (December 13-22: New York Islanders, Los Angeles, Columbus, Florida, and Winnipeg). - The Bruins will have a 10-day layoff from Feb. 2-11 for the club's bye week and the 2023 NHL All-Star Weekend. - The 2023 NHL All-Star Weekend is set for Feb. 3-4 in Sunrise, Florida. - The B's schedule includes 15 sets of back-to-backs, with the first Oct. 17-18 (vs. Florida, at Ottawa) and last April 8-9 (vs. New Jersey, at Philadelphia). - Check out the full schedule here.
