Prospects Update: Gabrielle Racking Up Points in WHL

Bjork keeps up scoring pace; Frederic out indefinitely

by Eric Russo @NHLBruins / - Jesse Gabrielle potted the deciding goal in Prince George's 4-2 win over Prince Albert Saturday night to continue what has been an impressive beginning to his 2016-17 campaign.

The hard-nosed forward has shown that he also has plenty of skill, while racking up 11 goals and 9 assists for 20 points in 17 games this season. He has also compiled 20 penalty minutes.

Gabrielle, who spent time with Boston during training camp, was drafted by the Bruins in the fourth round of the 2015 NHL Draft. Last season, he scored 40 goals and 35 assists in 72 games for Prince George, before suiting up for three games with the Providence Bruins in April.
