BOSTON - Boston Bruins General Manager Don Sweeney announced today, January 29, that the team has recalled goaltender Jeremy Swayman from Providence and assigned goaltender Troy Grosenick to the team's taxi squad.

Swayman, 23, has compiled a 8-6-2 record with a 2.26 goals against average and .918 save percentage in 16 games with Boston this season. The 6-foot-3, 195-pound netminder has appeared in 26 career NHL games with the Bruins, producing a 15-9-2 record with a 1.96 goals against average and .928 save percentage with three shutouts.
Grosenick, 32, has compiled an 8-2-1 record with a 2.28 goals against average and a .917 save percentage in 13 AHL appearances with Providence this season. The 6-foot-1, 181-pound netminder has appeared in four career NHL games.
