ST. LOUIS - St. Louis Blues President of Hockey Operations and General Manager Doug Armstrong announced today that Vladimir Tarasenko has an upper-body injury and will be re-evaluated in 10 days.

Tarasenko sustained the injury in a 4-0 win against the Los Angeles Kings on March 7. He recorded a goal and an assist and played 16 minutes and 50 seconds in the game.
"It's tough. It's like any injury, and we've dealt with them here for awhile," Blues Head Coach Craig Berube said. "It's unfortunate for the team and him, for sure. He'll recover and get back when he can. We've got guys who can do the job, you just have to keep going. Nothing you can do about it... We just have to keep plugging away."
In 66 games this season, Tarasenko leads the Blues with 28 goals and ranks second on the club with 58 points.
