MONTREAL - Jordan Kyrou is expected to move up to the team's first line alongside Ryan O'Reilly and Vladimir Tarasenko on Wednesday when the Blues meet the Montreal Canadiens at Bell Centre (6 p.m. CT, FSMW, KMOX).
"It's awesome. They're both great players, I'm excited," Kyrou said after his first practice Tuesday on the line. "Each game, my confidence is growing and I'm starting to play more and more of my game. I just need to keep going out there and keep playing hard."

"His speed is a factor, his skill is a factor in every game," Blues Head Coach Mike Yeo said of Kyrou. "He's showing me that he's understanding the game and trying to do the right things both with and without the puck. Obviously (now) there's a big challenge, a big opportunity. We'd love to give him a good look there with some of those guys like (Vladimir Tarasenko) and (Ryan O'Reilly), guys who can get him the puck. He's not up there just to fill in, he's up there to try to make those guys better and use his skill to create and be dangerous."
Kyrou had been playing on Brayden Schenn's line, first alongside Jaden Schwartz and now more recently, with David Perron.
Speaking of Schwartz, the Blues forward
will return Wednesday in Montreal
after missing two games with a lower-body injury. Expect Schwartz to return to his line with Schenn and Perron.
Zach Sanford will replace Robert Thomas in the lineup tonight and will play in his first NHL game since April 9, 2017. He missed all of last year due to a shoulder injury sustained in training camp last season.
Here is the complete projected lineup for Wednesday's game:
