UPDATE (9:12 p.m. CT) - Sammy Blais is not on the ice for warm-ups. The projected lineup below has been updated to reflect changes seen in warm-ups.

EDMONTON - Sammy Blais was injured in the second period of the round-robin finale on Sunday against Dallas. He returned for a shift in the third period but didn't play after that.

On Tuesday, before the team's practice, Blais skated on his own but did not join the team.

"He went out early on his own for a little bit, (but he's) still not ready," Blues Head Coach Craig Berube told reporters after practice on Tuesday. "It's day-to-day right now, I'd say. Hopefully (Wednesday) he feels even better. He had a lot of improvement coming into (Tuesday) but he's still not ready. We'll see (Wednesday)."

Blais' status leaves the Blues with a big question mark up front as their first-round series against the Vancouver Canucks gets underway on Wednesday (9:30 p.m. CT, FSMW, 101 ESPN). Will Blais be able to play? What are Berube's options if he can't? With Ivan Barbashev not available due to the birth of his child back in St. Louis, the bottom six might need to be mixed up.
