Vladimir Tarasenko will be back just in time for Game 1.
Tarasenko skated with Tyler Bozak and Ivan Barbashev on Monday during the morning skate at Ball Arena, and that's where he's likely to play when the Blues open their best-of-seven series against the Colorado Avalanche (9 p.m. CT, BSMW, NBCSN, 101 ESPN).

"He's one of the guys that can turn something out of nothing with a quick little play or shot," Blues captain Ryan O'Reilly said of Tarasenko. "He's so dynamic that way. Having him back, he's a big spark for us. He's a huge piece of this team and it will be nice to see him back with us."
"He's been a good playoff performer for the Blues in the past," added Blues Head Coach Craig Berube. "We'll need him tonight for sure. He looks fine for me, he's moving well, so it's good to see."
Tarasenko missed eight of the last nine regular-season games with a lower-body injury. He last played May 3 against Anaheim.
