Blues reveal 90's Vintage Jersey at training camp

Are those trumpets we hear?
Why yes they are.
The
90's vintage uniforms - complete with the diagonal music staff and a splash of red - will return this season
for three home games at Enterprise Center.

This jersey was worn by some of the biggest legends to wear the Blue Note. From 1995 until 1998, Brett Hull, Wayne Gretzky, Curtis Joseph, Al MacInnis, Chris Pronger and Brendan Shanahan all wore a sweater similiar to this vintage jersey. Now, current stars like Alex Pietrangelo, Vladimir Tarasenko and Ryan O'Reilly will wear it, too.

"I've been wanting to wear this for a long time. That was a fun era," Alexander Steen told stlouisblues.com. "I love the design, I think it's awesome. I grew up in this era, so it's a little more nostalgic for me. That team the Blues had in the 90's, that's what I see when I see this jersey."
The 90's Vintage Jersey, created by adidas, will be worn Nov. 21 vs. Calgary, Feb. 27 vs. New York Islanders (
90's Night
) and March 31 vs. Detroit.
