In the team's first home game with the return of fans, the Chicago Blackhawks and the Chicago Blackhawks Foundation (CBF) will host One Community Night on Sunday, May 9 as the team takes on the Dallas Stars at the United Center. Typically held annually as "Foundation Night," this year's charity-focused game will recognize the unique and unprecedented challenges the COVID-19 public health crisis placed upon our city and celebrate Chicago's resiliency as One Community, together, while our community works to reopen safely.

Blackhawks players will kick off the evening by wearing special city-inspired warmup jerseys. Each jersey will be autographed by the player who wore it and auctioned at

beginning May 9 through May 19 at 7 p.m. All proceeds will benefit the Chicago Blackhawks Foundation, which remains steadfast in its mission to create a healthier, smarter and more secure world for children and families across Chicagoland especially as the organization supports COVID-19 relief & recovery efforts and other neighborhood rebuilding initiatives.
One Community Night is generously supported by CDW, NBC Sports Chicago and Powering Chicago, who have worked with the Blackhawks to salute those who have been on the front lines throughout the pandemic. During each period of play, the Blackhawks will honor a local healthcare hero or essential worker who has made an incredible impact in our community as one of the team's Three Community Stars of the Game.

CBF AND UNITED AIRLINES ANNOUNCE INAUGURAL SUPPORT WEST GRANT RECIPIENTS

Additionally, the Blackhawks and United Airlines are proud to announce the first cohort of Support West grant recipients, who will be spotlighted on Blackhawks social media channels leading into the One Community Night game on Sunday. Recognizing the difficult burden the COVID-19 pandemic put on the business community, CBF and inaugural corporate partner United Airlines launched this small business grant recovery program to award one-time microgrants to minority-owned small businesses located in West Side neighborhoods for working capital purposes.
Fans who would like to give back to our local community alongside CBF can support more local small businesses by making a donation at

, which will directly benefit the Support West program throughout One Community weekend. CBF's next round of Support West grant awards is slated for Fall 2021.
Sunday's game against Dallas can be seen on NBC Sports Chicago, the exclusive local television home for Blackhawks hockey, as well as streamed live online at NBCSportsChicago.com and the "MyTeams by NBC Sports" app. For more information, please visit
