The Chicago Blackhawks announced today that they have recalled forward Luke Johnson from the Rockford IceHogs of the American Hockey League and placed forward Marcus Kruger on injured reserve (Concussion).
Johnson, 24, has spent time with the Blackhawks and IceHogs this season. He tallied one assist in 13 games with Chicago. Johnson made his National Hockey League debut on Oct. 4 at OTT. The Grand Forks, North Dakota, native registered seven points (4G, 3A), including two multi-point efforts in 10 games with Rockford during the 2018-19 campaign.

He recorded 30 points (13G, 17A) in 73 regular-season games with Rockford last year. He appeared in 13 playoff tilts, notching eight points (4G, 4A) and helped the IceHogs to the Western Conference Finals.
Kruger has five points (4G, 1A) with the Blackhawks this year.
