The Blackhawks fall 4-3 to the Blues on the last stop of their three-game road trip. 

PLAYER THE GAME: Brandon Saad netted two of the three goals for the Blackhawks.

UP NEXT: The Blackhawks are back at the United Center Sunday night to take on the Minnesota Wild at 6:00 p.m.


The Blackhawks scored 19 seconds into the second period when Brandon Saad fired a shot from the high slot beating Jordan Binnington to put Chicago up 1-0.

Brandon Saad netted his second of the night thirty seconds into the third period when Jonathan Toews sent a feeder pass from the boards into the slot, which Saad buried backdoor to put the Blackhawks up 2-0.

The Blackhawks extend their lead to 3-0 at 4:16 of the third period when Patrick Kane skated in from the blue line and ripped a shot mid-stride into the back of the net.

The Blues got on the board at 4:40 of the third period when Tyler Bozak put the puck past Corey Crawford to make the score 3-1. 

St. Louis netted another at 13:08 of the third period when Tyler Bozak tallied his second goal of the night off of a spinning pass from behind the net by Robert Thomas to make it 3-2. 

The Blues tied it up at 13:20 of the third period with a goal by Jacob de la Rose.

Justin Faulk secured the win for the Blues at 17:34 of the third period when Justin Faulk found twine on a cross-ice pass to pull ahead 4-3.
