While some prospects' college careers come to a close, some will continue to play well into March. For the OHL and WHL, teams' records becomes increasingly more important as the playoffs will begin next month.

NCAA

With three of the premiere college hockey conferences in the NCHC, Big Ten and Hockey East advancing, four Blackhawks prospects will continue their seasons.
Frank Nazar recorded one assist in the Michigan Wolverines' win over Jake Wise and the Ohio State Buckeyes. They will take on the Minnesota Golden Gophers. While the Hockey East semifinals between Providence and Boston University will feature prospects Ryan Greene and Taige Harding head-to-head.
Finally, in the NCHC, goalkeeper Dominic Basse and St. Cloud State will play University of North Dakota in the semifinals, while top-seeded and defending national champions Denver and Aidan Thompson will face Colorado College.
While Dominic James and the University of Minnesota-Duluth Bulldogs won't be advancing, Dominic James tallied a goal to tie the game against St. Cloud State.

HAYES HAT TRICK

Gavin Hayes recorded his third hat trick of the season for the Flint Firebirds. He now has 36 goals and 36 assists on the season for a total of 72 points through 62 games this season.

As for the Sarnia Sting, Ethan Del Mastro tallied a goal and an assist over the weekend to bring his points up to 54 (7G, 47A) in 47 contests.

WHL

In the WHL, Kevin Korchinski tallied a three-point weekend with three assists, bringing his assists total to 58 on the season. Nolan Allan notched an assist as well for the Thunderbirds as they secured their 50th win of the season.

ROCKFORD

The IceHogs lost their two contests over the weekend. Michal Teply a tallied goal in the team's win over the Chicago Wolves, while Arvid Soderblom recorded 31 saves in the loss to the Grand Rapids Griffins.
