The Blackhawks (8-8-5) look to continue their streak, in which they've recorded at least a point in four-straight games when they take on the Capitals in Washington, D.C. on Wednesday night.
Chicago is coming off a 3-1 victory over the Minnesota Wild on Sunday evening. Before that, they logged an overtime loss to Carolina, a shutout victory over St. Louis and a shootout loss to Los Angeles.

Goaltender Corey Crawford leads the way between the pipes. He has a 2.44 GAA and .922 save percentage in 12 appearances. He was named the NHL's Second Star of the Week on Monday for going 2-0-1 in three games and posting a .980 save percentage last week.
On the other side of things, the Capitals are led in scoring by Alex Ovechkin (15G, 8A) and Nicklas Backstrom (6G, 17A), who each have 23 points in 20 games.
In net, Braden Holtby is 6-5-2 in 13 starts with a 3.07 GAA and a .906 save percentage.
The Capitals have won two games in a row and three of four on their most recent road trip. Their last outing was a 5-4 overtime win in Montreal on Monday.
Washington is 10-7-3 this season.

LINEUP NOTES:

OPPONENT TO WATCH:
Ovechkin is the obvious choice for player to watch on the Capitals roster. The 33-year-old elite scorer is still going strong for the Caps. He has 15 goals so far this year.
The 2004 first-overall pick has played in 1,023 regular season NHL games, scoring 622 goals and adding 523 assists. He's first among active players in goals scored.
