LAST GAME
The Blackhawks defeated the Coyotes 3-1 on Sunday night at the United Center for their second straight victory. Tommy Wingels, Artem Anisimov and Nick Schmaltz tallied one goal each in the win. Corey Crawford stopped 31 shots. It was the 13th start this year that he allowed two or fewer goals.
VS. PANTHERS
Chicago holds a 22-9-3-2 mark all-time against Florida, including an 11-4-2-1 record at home. The Blackhawks beat the Panthers 4-1 in Florida in their first matchup of the season on Nov. 25. Jonathan Toews (1G, 2A) and Brandon Saad (1G, 1A) posted multipoint perfomances in the victory. Patrick Kane (7G, 11A) leads the Blackhawks with 18 career points in 16 games against the Panthers. Crawford has a 7-2-0 record against Florida in his career.
EARNING HIS WINGELS
Wingels played in his 400th career National Hockey League game and scored his fourth goal of the season in the win against Arizona on Sunday night. It was his eighth point (4G, 4A) this season and second goal in as many games. Last season, the Evanston, Ill., native tallied 12 points (7G, 5A) as a member of both the San Jose Sharks and Ottawa Senators.
