Kubalik

When the Blackhawks top prospects hit the ice for Development Camp a few weeks ago, noticeably absent from on-ice activities was the highly-touted Dominik Kubalik. Instead, the forward
spent a few days in town adjusting to the city
while taking a break following a lengthy and career-best season - one that just earned him MVP honors in the Swiss National League.

Kubalik led the Swiss National League with 57 points (25G, 32A) in 50 games and led his team in goals and assists as HC Ambrì-Piotta finished tied for fourth. The 23-year-old also finished third in scoring for Czech Republic with 12 points (6G, 6A) in a fourth-place finish at the 2019 IIHF World Championships.
When Chicago opens training camp in September, Kubalik is expected to be in prime position to earn a full-time role with the NHL squad.
