The Chicago Blackhawks announced today that they have assigned goaltender Jeff Glass to the American Hockey League's Rockford IceHogs.
Glass and the Blackhawks agreed to terms on a two-year contract that runs through the 2017-18 season on Feb. 23. The Calgary, Alberta, native shows a 5-4-1 record to go with a 2.38 goals-against average, a .917 save percentage and two shutouts in 10 games with Rockford this season.
The Blackhawks return to action on Sunday when they host the St. Louis Blues at The United Center at 6:30 p.m. The game can be seen live nationally on NBCSN, streamed live online with the NBC Sports App, and heard on WGN Radio.
