The Iowa Wild split its home-and-home series against Rockford last week. Iowa lost the first game, 4-2, on Friday at Wells Fargo Arena (2/4). Defender Dakota Mermis and Forward Bryce Misley scored and Goaltender Andrew Hammond made 19 saves.

The Wild earned a 4-2 victory at the IceHogs on Saturday (2/5). Forward Marco Rossi (1-1=2), Forward Mason Shaw (1-1=2), Forward Mitchell Chaffee and Forward Kyle Rau scored and Goaltender Zane McIntyre made 35 saves.
Rossi leads Iowa with 34 points (12-22=34) in 32 games. He ranks T-4th among AHL rookies in scoring and assists. Shaw ranks second on the team in scoring with 28 points (12-16=28). Rau is third with 27 points (11-16=27).
Hammond is 6-2-2 with a 2.29 GAA, a .911 SV% and three shutouts. He ranks T-2nd in the AHL in shutouts. McIntyre is 6-4-0 with a 2.41 GAA and a .918 SV% in 10 games with the Wild.
Iowa hosts Grand Rapids on Thursday and Friday and plays at Rockford on Tuesday.
