The Iowa Wild, Minnesota Wild's American Hockey League affiliate, earned points in two of its three games last week (0-1-2).

Iowa earned a point in its first contest of the week with a 2-1 overtime loss against Rockford on Wednesday at Wells Fargo Arena (10/25). FColton Beck scored the lone goal for the Wild with assists from forwards Zack Mitchell and Pat Cannone. G Niklas Svedberg stopped 29-of-31 shots through overtime.
The Wild fell in its second contest of the week, first against Tucson, 4-1 on Friday at Tucson Convention Center Arena (10/27). Beck netted the sole goal for Iowa, extending his franchise-best goal streak to six games while F Mario Lucia and D Hunter Warner added the assists. Svedberg made 24 saves.
Iowa tallied a point in its third match of the week, second against the Roadrunners with a 5-4 overtime loss on Saturday in Tucson (10/28). F Sam Anas (0-3=3) and F Cal O'Reilly (1-2=3) each led the team with three points. D Alex Grant, F Justin Kloos and D Brennan Menell netted a goal apiece. G Adam Vay made 29 saves in his AHL debut.
Beck leads the Wild with eight points (6-2=8) in nine games this season and ranks T-4th in the AHL in goals. Cannone (3-3=6) and O'Reilly (2-4=6) rank T-2nd with six points and Menell ranks fourth on the team with five points (2-3=5) and T-4th amongst AHL rookie defensemen in scoring.
Svedberg is 2-5-1 with a 2.94 GAA, a .900 SV% and one shutout in eight games this season and ranks T-2nd amongst league goalies in games played. Vay is 0-0-1 with a 4.74 GAA and a .853 SV% in one game.
