The Minnesota Wild today issued the following statement on the passing of Larry Hendrickson, a fixture in Minnesota hockey and the father of Wild assistant coach Darby Hendrickson:

The Minnesota Wild joins the State of Hockey in mourning the passing of Larry Hendrickson. He was a tireless supporter of the great sport of hockey and will be greatly missed by everyone in the hockey community. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Hendrickson family during this difficult time.
