Speaking of points streaks, Jason Zucker and Eric Staal kept theirs alive, with Zucker's reaching five on his second-period goal and Staal's getting to six with his assist on the goal. Both are season longs.
Alex Stalock was outstanding, finishing with 38 saves through the end of regulation and 41 for the game.
